One of the first cafés I visited in Baguio was Café by the Ruins. Maybe it was because it was near my hotel, or maybe because it kept popping up in my feed when I was researching the city.

Don’t miss their famous kamote bread—it’s soft and packed with flavor.
When I last visited, they didn’t have cake (which was a slight problem since my friend and I were celebrating belated and early birthdays).
But luckily, they suggested a dessert that looked like a mini cake, so it all worked out!

If you’re looking for delicious meals that won’t empty your wallet, 50s Diner is a budget-friendly spot with two branches—one in Porta Vaga Mall along Session Road and another on Military Cutoff Road.
It serves big American-style meals, from burgers to pasta to their famous fully loaded plates. The retro-themed interior adds to the charm, making it a fun place to eat.
If you’re really hungry, their Full House meal is big enough to feed two people.
Must-Try Food & Drinks in Baguio
