Once you land in Dumaguete, you’ll need to take a boat to Siquijor. There are several boats that go to the island every day. The trip itself takes around an hour.
So, to sum it up, flying to Dumaguete and then taking a ferry is the most popular and quickest way to get to Siquijor from Manila.
📌 Manila to Siquijor via Bohol
If you want to see more of the Philippines, you can go to Siquijor through Bohol. Bohol is known for its Chocolate Hills, tiny tarsiers, and a lot more.

✈️ Fly to Cebu City
First, you’ll need to fly to Cebu City. Being a big city, there are lots of daily flights going there from airlines such as Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Air Asia.
Once you’re in Cebu, you can take a flight, ferry, or bus to Dumaguete. You can also take a ferry from Cebu to Bohol.

If you’re in Bohol, you can also take the fast ferry going to Siquijor. The same process mentioned above this option.
The most direct option from Cebu to Siquijor Island is a ferry via Larena. I wouldn’t recommend this though because the travel time is 10 hours and the ferry service on this route is limited.
