Baha Ba’r (literally means “Flood Bar”) is a popular spot in Maite, San Juan known for its mix of local and international dishes and locally brewed craft beer.
You can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service in this traditional wood restaurant.
The seafood and grilled meats here are particularly delicious and they even have a lechon and fish buffet every Friday.
You won’t want to miss their signature dishes that highlight the freshness of local ingredients. They literally have a farm where they use their produce to cook food.
Baha Ba’r has also been featured in vlogs, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to try it. Sadly, I was too early last time and didn’t get the chance, but it’s high on my list for next time!

They use fresh, local ingredients to create tasty dishes in a cozy, garden-like setting. You’ll find their commitment to healthy eating refreshing and the atmosphere here is also peaceful.
They serve their dishes aesthetically pleasing, especially those in a bowl, which most customers love to take pictures of. I tried to eat here last time but unfortunately, it was full, not really my luck.
3. SEE-KEE-HOR Café and Hostel 🍽️

It’s a great spot in Siquijor to meet fellow travelers and enjoy a casual dining experience in one place. Again, I went here last time for dinner but was denied because the place was full.

They have three restaurants – Salamandas Restaurant, Casa Coco, and Coco Beach Bar. They offer a wide range of Filipino and international dishes.
And the best about this place, other than the food, is its beautiful beachfront view, especially during sunset.




I’ve dined here twice and I still crave their watermelon shake and their pancit guisado! 🤭
If you want to dine at Coco Grove Beach Resort without a reservation or room booking, try visiting in the afternoon or during the day.
Let the guard know you’re there for a meal, and they’ll check for availability. Visiting during off-peak times also improves your chances of getting a table.
6. Dagsa Resto Bar 🍽️

Last time, I had the chance to chat with the owner, and her passion for teaching visitors about the natural world through seashells really stood out.
I only bought some souvenirs then, but next time, I’m definitely trying their restaurant—it’s said their mango shake is a must!

It’s a hidden gem near Aquamare Beach Camp Resort—we only found it on my second trip to Siquijor when we were starving and needed a good, affordable place nearby.
Luckily, Google led us to Ayans, and it didn’t disappoint. 🤩
The food here is genuinely delicious and true to local flavors. Ayans is also one of the top-rated restaurants in Siquijor!
And don’t miss the mango grahams—they’re amazing, even for someone like me who doesn’t usually go for sweets.
