How to Get to Dumaguete Port from Dumaguete Airport?
From Dumaguete Airport, you can take a tricycle, Easyride, or a bus to Dumaguete Port.
The travel time is around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and the fare for a tricycle is around ₱150-₱200 if you choose to ride the tricycle inside the airport.
Here’s a tip from a local who had been in and out of the airport for a lot of time. Walk less than a minute to the National Highway and hail a tricycle.

Before riding it, make sure that both parties agree on the fare that you’ll pay. The fare is only ₱50 at most, that is ₱100 less than the tricycles inside the airport.
But if you are really on a budget, and are traveling light, you can hail an Easyride instead. Choose the one with a route from Sibulan to Dumaguete (you can see this sign at the side of the Easyride).
The fare is only ₱15 and make sure to tell the driver to drop you near Silliman Portal West. From there, you can see the boulevard and the sea, but if there are too many objects blocking the view, ask a local and they’ll be happy to tell you where to go.
It’s only a less than 5-minute walk to the pier so if you don’t mind the hassle and want to save more, you can choose this option.
A bus is also a convenient option and the fare is also ₱15 only.
You can hail a non-aircon bus on the National Road and just tell the conductor that you are going to Dumaguete Pier Port. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop on the pier.
Other Things to Know…
⚠️ Be aware of the drivers that will rip you off. Some of them will offer a ride for a very expensive price. WAY MORE EXPENSIVE. There’s a Grab tricycle now in Dumaguete which you can avail for a fix fare.
⏲️ Make sure that you’re already inside the terminal 30 minutes before your scheduled trip to avoid long queues, especially during peak season.
🎟️ Before passing the security, prepare your ticket, and pay the terminal fee which is ₱15 at Dumaguete Port and ₱14 at Siquijor Port.

If you’re planning to visit during these months, it’s recommended that you book your hotel well in advance to avoid high prices.

What to Expect When Arriving in Siquijor?

Upon arriving in Siquijor, you will be greeted by the island’s laid-back vibe and friendly locals. The island is relatively small, so it’s easy to get around.
